Woodpecker Curing Light

    Can curing light be used without a disposable sleeve?
    A

    It cannot be used without a sleeve for the following reasons:

    1: The disposable cover can prevent the light curing machine from being polluted, which is convenient for machine maintenance;

    2: The waterproof level of the light curing machine is IPX0 level, which may cause damage to the machine without sleeves.

    We offer disposable curing light sleeeves, welcome to pick up what's you need.

    What's the difference between Woodpecker ILED and other brands curing light?

    Can curing light lamp head or body be sterilized at a high temperature of 134°C?
    A

    Neither the lamp head nor the body can be sterilized at high temperature; only the optical fiber can be sterilized.

    After fully charged, the using time of curing light is significantly shorter.
    A
    The battery may is aging and the capacity is getting smaller. It is recommended to replace the battery, different models have different battery replacement methods. Pls refer to this video: I LED Disassembly

    I tested the light intensity of the curing light and it showed significantly lower light intensity.
    A

    2: Check whether there is resin remaining on the front of the transparent cover. If you need to replace the transparent cover, pls refer to this video: Replacing the Transparent Cover

    3: If you use another light meter, please provide the brand model of the light meter and the video of the light metering operation (you can see the mode selected by the light curing), we’ll help to process your problem.

    When connected to the power supply for charging, the curing light does not respond, and the light on the charging stand does not turn on.
    A

    1: Check whether the connection of each line is tight, pls refer to this video: Curing Light Installation

    2: Wipe the plug of the power adapter with alcohol, pls refer to this video: Wipe the Plug of the Charging Stand with Alcohol

    3: Try to replace the charging stand or power adapter.

    When connected to the power supply for charging, the curing light does not respond, but the light on the charging stand is on.
    A

    1: Make sure the curing light is placed firmly in the charging position, and can be picked up and placed again.

    2: Wipe the contact plug of the charging stand with alcohol, pls refer to this video: Wipe the Plug of the Charging Stand with Alcohol

    3: Try to replace the charging stand.

    The curing light is completely unresponsive and cannot be turned on.
    A

    1: The battery died and needs to be charged.

    2: The battery of the main unit is protected, and need to activated on the charging stand.

    3: The battery is damaged, replace the battery, pls refer to this video: I LED Disassembly

    The digital tube flashes to display “Er” or the indicator light flashes.
    A

    1: Make sure that the lamp head is installed tightly.

    2: Use an eraser to wipe the copper sheet at the bottom of the lamp head connection, Pls refer to this video: Use an Eraser to Wipe the Bottom of the Lamp Head

    3: Make sure that the plug inside the machine is not loose or falling off, Pls refer to this video: I LED Disassembly

    The digital tube or indicator keep flashing.
    A
    The battery power is too low, it will return to normal status after charging for 15 minutes.

    The curing light can't turn on after charging, after pressing the power button, the indicator flashes and then goes out.
    A

    The machine may have entered the power feeding state, please try to restore according to the following operation:

    First charge for 30 minutes, then disconnect the power adapter for 5 seconds, then charge for 30 minutes, then disconnect the power adapter for 5 seconds, and then it may be charged normally after 3 cycles.

    Through the Light hood, I can see that the purple light bead in the O-light II that is not lit, how to solve it?
    A

    Please remove the Light hood, turn on the device to the high light intensity mode, and directly shine on the white paper. If you can see the shadow on the white paper, it means that the device is normal; Or the purple light bead is broken and can only be used to cure narrow spectrum.

      How to connect scaler to my dental chair's water supply with a quick connector?
      A

      Can the scaler work without water supply?
      A

      No, the working tip of the dental scaler will heat up when it is working. Adding water can cool down the working tip, thereby reducing the damage to the teeth and the working tip. In addition, it can also play a role in cleaning the working environment.

      The scaler vibrates weakly, but everything else is normal.
      A

      1: Make sure the working tip is tightened.

      2: Make sure the working mode and gear are selected correctly (vibration intensity G>P>E).

      3: Try to replace the handpiece.

      The water of scaler is out of control, even if the foot switch is released, the handpiece does not work or the machine is powered off, the handpiece is still leaking.

      Is it possible to use the no LED handpiece on a scaler with LED handpiece?
      A

      Yes, but the handpiece and tail wire need to be replaced at the same time, and the machine needs to be disassembled to change the tail wire, contact us for the video: Operation of Replacing the Tail Wire.

      The scaler is powered on normally, and the water is normal, but there is no vibration, or the vibration is discontinuous and intermittent, or the vibration stops suddenly.

      1: Make sure that the working tip is not loose.

      The scaler’s handpiece vibrates normally, but there is no water, or the water output is very small.
      A

      1: Confirm that the water volume adjustment knob has been opened or adjusted properly.

      3: Use the 3-way air water syringe of dental chair to clear the pipeline, refer to the document How to Clean the Water Pipe of Scalers with 3-Way Air Water Syringes

      4: Clean the solenoid valve and ensure that the battery valve plug is not loose, contact us for videos: Clean the Solenoid Valve and Make Sure the Solenoid Valve’s Plug is not Loose or Fall Off

      The quick connector always leaks.

      2: Confirm whether the quick connector is suitable, you can take pictures or videos to confirm with us.

      The scaler won't turn on, the lights on the scaler don't come on, and the buttons don't work.
      A

      1: Check whether the connection of each line is correct and tight, and whether there is current in the socket.

      2: Try to replace the power adapter (if you try a different model or different brand adapter, you need to ensure that the power parameters are consistent, such as the output voltage and current of the power adapter), otherwise it may damage the machine.       What is the difference between DTE and Woodpecker working tips?
      A

      The thread specifications are different, and the clamping positions used for wrench tightening are also different. Woodpecker is a four-sided flat clamping position, and DTE is a double-sided flat clamping position.

      What is the function of the two water bottles of the scaler machine?
      A

      We offer 350mL and 500mL water bottles, there is no other difference between the two water bottles except for the capacity. The reason why the two water bottles are attached has the following two usage scenarios: One is to allow the doctor to hold different medicinal solutions or pure water respectively; the other is during the treatment process, when the water in the water bottle is used up, the doctor can directly switch to another water bottle filled with water to achieve seamless switching without leaving the consultation position.

        If the software is already installed on one computer, can it be installed on another computer again?
        A

        Yes. You can install on as many computers as you want, and you can share on the different computer just make sure you have one computer is always on and working as a server will be fine, the images can be emailed.

        Which computer systems can the sensor be adapted to?
        A

        Our i-Sensor can adapt to Win7-Win11, does not support XP, does not support Apple. The most computer (Win 7-Win 11) can run our software, newer than Win 7 should be fine.

        How many U disks are there in the sensor? What's in it?
        A

        There is only one U disk, which contains two parts, including the sensor software and the calibration file.

        A

        No, Woodpecker sensor imaging software does not have Twain's image receiving function.

        A

        Woodpecker i-Sensor can connected with imaging software that support TWAIN.

        # Please notice Woodpecker i-Sensor does not have a TWAIN driver, but it can be used with TWAIN if your software support TWAIN or you download it through a different source.

        Will the i-Sensor work with other brands of X-ray machines?
        A

        Yes, our i-Sensor can be used with most x-ray machines on the market, including animal dental x-ray machines.

        Can I upgrade the imaging software myself, will it affect the use?
        A

        Yes, you can download and use the new version of imaging software by yourself, and the previous calibration files and sensors are still compatible.

        Can the woodpecker imaging software be connected with other brand sensors?
        A

        No, Woodpecker sensor imaging software does not have Twain's image receiving function.

        Can patient data from other sensor be read on the Woodpecker imaging software?

        No, patient data needs to be recreated.

        Why do images from the sensor show white spots or streaks on the imaging software?
        A

        The imaging software did not import the calibration file or the calibration file was imported incorrectly.

        After installing the sensor software, an error has occurred during starup.
        A

        It may be that the software calls some sensitive files or areas in the system when it is opened, and administrator privileges are required to call it. Please try to right click on the icon, and click "run as administrator".

        If the server is not installed, can the client software be used?
        A

        No, the client needs to log in to use, and the password account for client login is managed by the server, so when you need to log in to the client, you need to open the server and match it with the client (IP address and port) before you can log in through the account password. If you open the client separately, the server IP cannot be searched.

        How to create an administrator account in the imaging software?
        A

        After the newly installed imaging software is opened, the first registered account is the administrator account by default, and subsequent normal accounts need to be created in the client logged in by the administrator account.

        Why I changed the image and data storage path in the client, but I can't find the relevant data in this path?
        A

        All data is managed by the server and stored in the specified path of the server. If you need to change the path, you need to change it in the server. It is great to change it on the client side. Changing it on the client side is useless.
