The Woodpecker PT-A model combines air polishing and scaling into a single, user-friendly system with an intuitive touch screen display. This comprehensive prophylaxis solution effectively removes plaque using compressed air to spray a powder-water mix, ensuring patient comfort while protecting the tooth surface.

The PTA features dual water supply bottles and a multifunctional foot pedal for enhanced efficiency. It is FDA approved and includes a one-year warranty for added reliability.

Functions

• Ultrasonic and Air Polishing Modes

The device automatically identifies the ultrasonic mode when using the ultrasonic handpiece and switches to air polishing mode with the air polishing handpiece.

• Air Polishing Benefits
  • Effective Plaque Removal: Air polishing excels in cleaning occlusal surfaces, interproximal areas, and around orthodontic brackets, achieving significant scaling results in hard-to-reach areas.
