User-defined Modes

1. Utilize a #10 stainless steel K file to probe and negotiate the root canal, allowing for a preliminary determination of the working length.

2. Employ the cavity access file 171.12 to pre-enlarge the coronal third of the root canal and to remove the ferrule at the root canal orifice.

3. Accurately determine the working length and confirm the patency of the root canal.

4. Use the glide path file 12/.vt to negotiate and enlarge the access to the root canal.

5. Apply the glide path file 16/.vt for further negotiation and enlargement of the root canal access.

6. Utilize the file 18/.05 to negotiate the root canal to the working length using the "brushing" and "pecking" techniques.

7. Shape the root canal to the working length with the file 25/.06 by applying the "brushing" and "pecking" methods.

8. Use the file 35/.04 to continue shaping the root canal to the working length, again employing the "brushing" and "pecking" techniques.

It is essential to consciously apply the "brushing" technique to enlarge the lateral space of the root canal, which enhances the safety of root apex preparation. Additionally, the "pecking" method should be utilized deliberately to minimize the risk of apical deviation in root canals.
