Overview

The apex locator is an essential tool in endodontic treatment, facilitating the measurement of the length of apical teeth to assist dentists in completing root canal procedures. 

The device is FDA approved and includes a one-year warranty. Equipped with a bright LCD display, this device provides a clear image, with different colors indicating the trajectory of the file effectively. It utilizes advanced multiple frequency network impedance measurement technology and automatic calibration to ensure accurate measurements. The file clip, lip hook, and touch probe can be autoclaved at high temperatures and pressures, effectively preventing cross-infection. Additionally, the rechargeable battery eliminates the need for frequent replacements.

• Accurate Measurements: The locator eliminates interference by utilizing multi-frequency apex positioning technology combined with a DSP data processing system. This integration, along with clinical big data fitting, ensures accurate measurements even in the presence of residual pulp and blood in the root canal.

• Clear View and Sound: The device zooms in on the narrow apical 1/3 section, subdividing measurements from 11 to 19, facilitating more accurate and intuitive measurement trajectories that effectively prevent perforation. When the file is within 2 mm of the apical foramen, intermittent low-frequency beeps will sound. As the file approaches the apical foramen, the sound will increase in intensity, and upon reaching the preset apex position, continuous high-frequency beeps will be prompted. The sound level is adjustable for easier measurement differentiation.

• Apical Stop Setting: The locator features an adjustable apical stop alarm function tailored to clinical needs, providing timely reminders to measure distance. The display location can be repositioned to indicate 0.5mm from the apical foramen.
